Rick Suttles

Technical Product Leader in San Diego, CA

I believe the future can be better than the present…

I offer years of comprehensive experience in project management, technical development oversight, and in formulating and implementing technical and strategic initiatives. Additionally, I have extensive experience with business processes, vendor negotiation/management, and project and service delivery. I am able to provide increased efficiency, service levels, and performance to any organization.

I have diverse experience in non-profits, private sector, and higher education. My work experience includes developing my first web site for a client when I was 12 years old. Since then, I’ve worked on everything from software development, to technical workflows and project integrations. While you will note my varied technical and project management expertise, my resume cannot illustrate my foresight and passion.

I’m a technical project manager with an array of experience in development, implementation, and training. I work tirelessly to seek out innovative solutions to operational issues, infusing technology to increase accuracy and efficiency. My approach to change management is to utilize technology to improve processes and efficiencies; allowing the technology to fade into the background of the interactions. I have experience writing executive level reports, designing engaging presentations, and developing user-intuitive workflows.

My background also includes earning an International Campus Innovators Award from Campus Technology magazine, securing a partnership with a corporate-based virtual event provider to pioneer the first virtual orientation program for higher education and leading The University of Toledo as one of the first institutions in the country to implement the SchoolsApp on Facebook. Most recently, I received the inaugural 2015 Hero Award from Intuit QuickBase for my development and implementation of their rapid application development platform.
